Human Centrifuge

One facility that KTH has access to is the human centrifuge, which is located at Karolinska Institutet in Solna. The centrifuge is an important part of environmental physiology and is used mainly for research and technology development, for example for the development of G-protection equipment and for basic physiological studies of, among other things, blood circulation, breathing (lung function) and the sense of balance.

Formally, the human centrifuge is now owned by Karolinska Institutet, but there is a close collaboration with KTH.
